Nice is Cannes larger next door neighbour and is bustling with activities to experience. Colline du Chateau is one of the most popular attractions in Nice. The Castle is 92 meters above sea level and the highest point in the city, it is also home to the ruins of Chateau de Nice.
Monaco is just an hour away. Again, famous for its luxurious lifestyle, exquisite buildings and reputation as a playground for the rich, it’s well worth the visit.
Expats can visit the smaller villages around Nice, such as Eze and Beaulieu-sur-Mur. If it’s a secluded private villa set in the hills that you are after, Super Cannes is worth considering. It is set in the country side, with amazing views over the Bay of Cannes.
La Californie is one of Cannes most prestigious areas, often compared to Beverley Hills. Offering homes on large hillside plots, surrounded by plenty of greenery. La Californie and some of it neighbouring hillsides are home to a number of the region’s most prestigious properties. Homes here start at €3 million and apartments at €1 million.
