A complex 2015 jigsaw puzzle reorganisation of 200 administrative and academic staff out of and into various buildings around the University’s Westminster campus, involving packing and unpacking, de and re-commissioning of IT and moving of furniture and contents.
Universities are seats of learning but the knowledge needed to manage and complete a sequence of departmental moves, picking and taking the desks, computers and all the other bits and pieces required by 200 administrative and academic staff, from and to various buildings within a Westminster based campus, is a skill not usually found internally. Cadogan Tate however had the learning.
The relocations were made up of sequences of pack and unpack, de and re commissioning of IT, movement of furniture and content, as well as detailed input to relocation management. Once each refurbished area became available, a staggered recant and return from store was implemented.
It went very well and we earned full marks from our client. So much that we have a continued relationship with this client and to date have completed dozens of further projects both large and small.
