Importing a car into Hong Kong is expensive due to the first registration tax that is due on imported private cars. Cars will be subject to emissions and noise testing. Bear in mind that all motor vehicles are subject to special attention in terms of Customs Duty as well as Goods and Service Tax (GST) in some cases. These vary between vehicles and have to be dealt with on a case by case basis.
We recommend that you investigate these thoroughly and can provide information on shipping cars to Hong Kong if you wish.

If you are interested in moving your pet to Hong Kong please discuss this with your Surveyor who will be able to provide you with the information you require.
