Cadogan Tate take the stress out of moving house.
Whether you are moving within the UK or overseas, you may need to put items into storage for either a short or long period. If so, you need to be sure that your property remains secure and protected from damage or deterioration.
Few removal companies offer you the choice of storage options that Cadogan Tate can provide. We have our own, state-of-the-art storage facilities, strategically located throughout London and the Home Counties, Paris, Côte d’Azur, New York and Los Angeles. We also have carefully vetted facilities in other locations via our network of worldwide agents.
Our customers use our storage facilities when they need flexibility in moving dates; when redecorating or making home improvements; or simply if they need more space for a while.
All of our facilities are modern, clean and dry and are protected by excellent physical security, intruder alarms, fire detection and digitally recorded CCTV and sound detection. They are all monitored 24x7 by an offsite security control room.
We offer a range of storage services to meet our customers’ differing needs. These include short or long term storage, with options varying from security-sealed containers through to secure private rooms or climate-controlled environments.

This is the best option if you are unlikely to need regular access to items. When your property is collected, its condition is noted and it is then packed, labelled and loaded into customised containers. These will be security-sealed in your presence and will then be stored in a computer-controlled container warehouse for whatever length of time is required.
When you need the property, the containers will be delivered and the seals broken in your presence. Every item will be unloaded, placed where you want it and then unpacked and checked against the inventory and condition report.
If you need to remove or add items whilst a container is in storage, it can be opened in your presence. The inventory will then be updated and a new seal fitted.
This is the best option if you need on-going management and access to stored items (e.g. extensive personal wardrobes, private wine or art collections, medical records, archives, or executors' estates).
We provide flexible, customised storage facilities and, if required, security receiving and handling, with online inventory reporting. The options include high security rooms that can be climate-controlled (for art, antiques, vintage wines, musical instruments etc.)
If you have extremely rare, high value or fragile items, we can provide storage that is tailored to your specific needs.
Cadogan Tate's storage facilities/operations have been approved by HM Customs & Excise, NACOSS, Lloyds Loss Prevention Bureau, Christie's, Bonhams, Phillips, Museums and Galleries Association, British Interior Design Association, British Antique Dealers' Association, London And Provincial Antique Dealers' Association, British Association of Removers, and Federation Internationale des Déménageurs Internationaux.
Our highly trained removals and storage team can provide you with expert advice on the full spectrum of storage environments and methods available. We will explain the options available to ensure that you choose the most efficient and cost-effective one for your needs. We can also design customised storage arrangements to meet the most challenging requirements. For example we store a large collection of "Collectors Guitars" in ideal climatic conditions, and high value works of art in sterile conditions to be used as evidence by the FBI in a forthcoming trial.
