Green Credentials Statement

The environment is a key issue for everyone today. This is evident in the choices we make about the way we live, the products we buy, and the services we choose.

At Cadogan Tate we understand that packing, moving and storing prized possessions inevitably impacts on the environment and as a responsible company have introduced ways to reduce this impact and are working on further improvements in this area, providing our customers with an environmentally-conscious service.

Our packing materials and cartons are made from recycled and recyclable wood pulp from sustainable forests and our wooden storage containers and packing cases are from timber from certified sustainable forests, complying with stringent international standards. We are currently working on an entire range of re-usable packing cases and liners.

Our vehicles are low-noise and low-emission. Most have particulate traps or Euro 5 engines, almost totally eliminating harmful particulates which contribute to childhood asthma and heart attacks in the old. We use low-sulphur diesel which reduces our contribution to acid rain. All our vehicles operating in London comply with the Low Emission Zone regulations. We are gradually switching our smaller vehicles from diesel to electric or low emission clean burn LPG. All new company cars are electric, hybrid or LPG.

Our buildings are energy efficient and none of our office technology stays on standby when it's not being used. Even the paper on which we bill you is recycled!

To encourage customers to make an informed decision, Cadogan Tate rewards clients who choose pre-used packing cartons with discounted prices.

We are currently working towards, and by April 2009 should have achieved, ISO 14001, the world environmental quality standard.
