Imperial College London
This relocation involved the move of the library both within the South Kensington campus and between sites. The relocation was carried out to a very tight schedule and involved working within the constraints of difficult site conditions of limited space and the accommodation of the college staff who still required a level of access to the facility. The relocation was carried out to schedule and budget.
Cadogan Tate remains the preferred supplier to the college and carry out a wide range of moving activities on an ongoing basis.

Westminster University
This project involved the move of 400 academic staff and students from one campus to a newly constructed building. It also involved substantial enabling works, moving internally another 300 staff and students on the main Cavendish campus. The move included library and other special materials, laboratories and numerous specialist areas requiring specialist skills and expertise. There were a number of moves from remote sites onto the new campus. A substantial amount of the work was carried out during term time and considerable sensitivity had to be shown to the every day functioning of the College.
The work was carried out to very tight deadlines and was achieved on budget.

British Red Cross
This project involved the relocation of 400 Red Cross staff and the Museum collection depicting their activity over the last 150 years. The Red Cross had been in their existing buildings for over 40 years and had accumulated a vast quantity of material, much of it unique, drawn from their experiences world wide. The movement of the museum was complex involving the handling of a very wide range of material, most of which was irreplaceable. The whole process was carried out over three months and also included the movement of some valuable paintings in their collection.
Cadogan Tate was responsible for the packing of all specialist items. Despite considerable problems with the building contractor's completion schedules the project was delivered on time.
Value of Contract £145,000

The exacting standards of the Executive has been met over every phase of the project. Cadogan Tate has been responsible for the full Move Management of the relocation in conjunction with Caxton Facilities Management. The Executive has a very wide range of “evidence material” and historical artefacts which are irreplaceable. Many of these had to be packed and moved a number of times. Cadogan Tate was responsible for all the sequential packing and unpacking throughout the life of the project.
